Patrick Zajdel is a 20 year old Collegiate tournament angler from Burlington Ontario, Canada. Patrick currently attends the Goodman School of Business at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario. He is pursuing his Bachelor of Business Administration degree, in hopes of one day combining his love for the sport of bass fishing with his passion for business.

On the water, Patrick is a grinder; he fishes his best when he puts his head down and focuses on the battle between him and the fish. You are bound to find his truck and trailer in the parking lot before others arrive, and more often than not, when you are pulling the boat out of the water, he is still on the lake fine tuning patterns. His strong work ethic and determination to succeed is what makes him the angler that he is today. Patrick competes in a wide variety of tournaments  across Canada and the United States, in affiliation with BASS and FLW. He enjoys the challenge of breaking down new bodies of water, and figuring out what makes the fish bite on that particular day. Patrick enjoys educating younger generations and beginner anglers, teaching them techniques or just talking fishing! He absolutely loves being able to spend time in the boat and share his knowledge for the sport with his father, who he hopes to call his tournament partner one day!

When he is not on the water, Patrick is most likely to be working on tackle in the boat, getting ready for the next day on the water. He enjoys keeping in contact with the North American fishing industry on many social media platforms, as well as through written and audio visual publications.¬†Patrick has made appearances on various radio networks such as In-Depth with Reno Viola, and the Renegade Bass Radio Show. He enjoys weight-training and keeping active to help take the edge off after a tough day, but that does not mean that he won’t devour a large poutine after almost every day on the water!
